Want to hear multilingualism in practice? Listen to this interesting radio interview about our new online course Multilingual Practices with Omrop Fryslân (in Frisian and Dutch). In this course, people can learn about central aspects of multilingualism in today’s globalised societies, such as cognition, policies and education. The course is offered by the the Faculty of Arts (Minorities & Multilingualism) and the UG/Campus Fryslân of the University of Groningen.
”The course is aimed at a general audience”, says dr. Joana Duarte. “All people who are interested in languages in society and multilingualism in the region can join. But also for people in practical professions such as teachers, police officers and nurses [this online course] can be very useful.”
Are you interested? The course starts on 10 April and is completely free! You can apply here. Watch a little preview of the course below.
